Check your local county colleges. They often have an art program which will offer videography and post-production classes.
Also, I get catalogs from a school in Maine that teaches these and many other subjects. I'm sure other states have such schools. Google for some.

Pick up a copy of Videomaker magazine or go to www.videomaker.com
they always have seminars listed or type in "video editing workshops" )with the quotes) and take your pick. Most (I assume) will focus on either Premiere or Final Cut but all will give you the basics of shooting/lighting/sound and editing.

Go to the counselors at your school. Tell them what you want to do. They should have all the info you need. And don't take "no" for an answer. It's their job to help students find the colleges that fit their needs.
Good luck.

I picked up a catalog from The International Film Workshops, Rockland, Maine (www.filmworkshops.com). They have many 1, 2, and 4 week summer courses that cover eveything from directing, writing, producing, acting, editing, and many more. There's also a 7-week work study program.
They are associated with Rockland College which offers 2 and 3-year degrees.
Good luck.
