I am a newbie wanting to get into documentary work. I am debating between the TRV950 and the VX1000, both about the same price range. What would be some reasons to choose one over the other?
Another question? 16:9 mode? I've been told the Japanese version of the VX1000 is in true 16:9 mode. My friend has a Canon Optura 40 (not sure if that is 16:9 or not). Will our cameras be compatible so we can work on the same film? Will it be messed up if you mix true 16:9 mode with the cropped version?
