After 5 months of smooth operation, my PC no longer recognizes my DVC-30. I can run another digitalcamcorder through the same connection without any problem- I tried a different cable and still couldn't get it to work. Unless I'm missing something really obvious....
Looks like I need to send the camera into an authorized repair center this week. The nearest shop listed on the Panasonic website is 60 miles, so I will ship it anyway. Any good/bad experiences with the different repair centers? Is this something that could/should go back directly to Panasonic?
I'd like to know that I'm sending my camera to a shop that has decent turnaround time and good track record.
