Free Live Broadcast On The Internet

Hello Guys,
Does anyone know where I can be able to broadcast live events over the internet for FREE??

There are several computer programs that allow you to stream video over the internet but I think you'll have to do everything required for a webserver to get it to work. Like have a DNS name and if you have a router you'll have to set up port forwarding, and then you have to hope that your internet provider doesn't have a way of stopping you. One such program is vlc media player.
