I'm looking to get a GVC30 as I have about $1500 to spend for this and see that to use a good XLR mic I need a breakout box another $200 or so then a mic, another $200 or so. thats about 2k
Looking over the DVX100A appears to be a far better cam of course and possibly better bang for the $. However I am really an audio guy fo the most part and video is about a year new to me. Just sold a PV-GS 400.
Can I find "after the $500 rebate" a DVX100A for about $2500? if so where or
will I be happy using the GVC30 for the time being then upgrade later.
any helpful insite would be appreciated.
