Hi, I've been researching and shopping for a good quality camcorder, and this model keeps coming up with rave reviews.
It came out 4 years ago and I've seen a few advertised under $900.00 in as new condition. Despite its age, it seems to be quite up to date in technology. It has the firewall jack, s-video, v/a...etc.
What I need it for:
Shooting music concerts in small clubs and bars which can be dimly lit.
Also for shooting plays in small theatres. I will be attaching an external mic and will need to be able to adjust the white balance easily to keep up with the stage lighting on my subjects.
Any advice out there?
The newer cameras seem to be either too expensive or don't have the diversity of the TRV900.
Thanks!
Lisette
