View Full Version : hide menus?

I work with copiers many years and I know that all kind of digital copiers have an unknown menu (hide menu), called 'diagnose'. The user don't know about this menu. This menu is for servicemen. They can change any settings of the copier from here, included factory settings.I have, also, a sony TV home, and a service man from sony entered in a secret menu and he changed the proportion of red and green.
I think that all digital camcorders have a secret menu, and I'd like to know if someone could help me to find the button's combination to enter in my sony's pc 1000e secret menu. I believe that I can change the gain value, and the shutter speed value from here. I'm very frustrated because my sony takes very dark shots in indoor situations, and I want to change some settings in my camera. Thanks.

I've done a little more research regarding the use of my shotgun mike. Sony says that the Intelligent Shoe takes 'precedence' over the inbuilt mike - but doesnn't mean the in-built mike won't pick up on background sound. This leads me onto my next question.

In regards to 'hidden menus' does anyone know how to alter the pickup level of the inbuilt mike? It'd be nice to be able to turn the IB Mike right down low during shotgun mike usuage.

Any thoughts..........
