I have the Canon XL2 and a lot of the projects I'm getting I'm realizing how much I am in need of a good teleprompter. I just bought the XL2 and am about to buy the tripod. I'm glad I haven't yet, seeing as I probably would have bought the bogen 501 not realizing how I most likely will need something serious to hold a teleprompter.
So, my question is, what is a good XL2/teleprompter combo? I've been researching everywhere and am finding a lot of stuff, but it brings the weight to like 30 lbs and its usually like 5K. I can't afford dishing out 6K to have the ability to use a teleprompter with my XL2. Suggestions on the teleprompter and tripod? I also am curious as to the quality of some of them out there and am not seeing much online as to what people have to say about using an XL2 with any specific teleprompter.
