i have a sony DCR TRV230. i want to use a smaller camera eye , like a helemet cam , is this possible? i want to use my camcorder for hunting so i cam film my own hunts. but it is hard to film and shoot at the same time. what i was wondering is if there is something small out there that can attach to a bow or rifle ( like a smaller cam) and still run it through the camcorder i have now and still be able to record. thank you

They are called a variety of names, Helmet Cams, Liptstick Cams, Bullet Cams. They are usually a small video camera with the video, possibly audio being fed to a camcorder. The camcorder acts as the recorder. The camcorder must have an analog video input. It is commonly called "A/V" input. It can also be called VTR (video tape recording). If the camcorder can record from a VHS VCR for example then it will most likely work.
