View Full Version : Will Not Power Up!!!! *help*!!!!!!!!!!!

pancakes
I am from new york, and just got into New Delhi today to shoot a documentary. I own a DVX100, and the company I am working for just bought a DVC30 to use as a secondary camera/backup. Both cameras were carry-on. I used the DVC-30 to shoot some footage in the airport. Upon arrival to our hotel, I ejected the tape from the DVC-30 and put it in my DVX100. I checked the previous footage on the tape, and powered it off. This is the last time it powered on. This is what I have already attempted. Please help me out if you can.

I tried using different baterries. I even checked the batteries on the DVC-30 (which worked).

I used the wall plug via battery plate and nothing happens. Keep in mind that I have the proper power converter, and I have used it to power up the DVC-30.

The camera was at my side for four hours after I last powered it off.

It was not dropped, and there was no moisture around, or even humidity.

What is the best way to go about taking care of this? Ship back to NYC to get repared? find a shady panasonic tech here in india?

Any help is greatly apprectiated.

Please email me off list as well at : rubadubindia@gmail.com

thanks in advance,
