Unable to transfer video to computer

I have a VL-MC 500 Sharp Camcorder, which has a memory card for still images and a video cassette for capturing videos.

While I am able to download the still images onto a computer through a USB port, I have been unable to transfer the video images.

Does this require a different driver? Or any other software?

Is there a Sharp service centre in Mumbai that can help? What are their contact nos.?

Any help will be appreciated.

Your camcorder appears to be a MiniDV format which usually requires Firewire to transfer the video. Read this thread USB vs Firewire:
