Jvc Gz-mg30

Hi all , JVC GZ-MG30 Camcorder
anyone own one or even use one ?

I am having so much trouble transferring
files from camcor to pc, movie files dont
transfer as mpeg, and i cant even get the images,
any help would be great thanx...

I'm having the same problem, Windows Vista, goes berserk when I try to open an MPeg file. It closes down Windows Picture Viewer - in Media Centre it doesn't show or play the thumbnails.

It plays video in avi. no problem. The JVC format is MOD. although I change it to MPEG and it still won't play. when I go to properties it shows it as an MOD file.

Does anynody with Vista and Media Centre have any ideal what is going on and how to put it right.
