DCR-TRV18E inputs/outputs

I've read conflicting information on several websites, including Sonys!,
about the audio/video and firewire inputs and outputs.

Does the DCR-TRV18E have the full complement of I/O ports or not?

Perhaps an existing UK owner can enlighten me.

The TRV18 which is sold in the US does have analog inputs, however some of the European models do not, some of them have the inputs disabled because of extra taxes imposed on recording devices.

I do not know how to tell if it has been disabled or not.
