how would one speed up frame rate to 60f then play back at 30f. to achieve that slo motion look you see in music videos! isnt that how its done. can you do this on the XL1S or on the new XL H1. please advise?

I thought they created the slo-motion look using a slower shutter speed.
I could be wrong.?

The slow motion effect is created by increasing the frame rate so when it is played back it takes longer to play, thus it will appear to be in slow motion.

You can achieve a slow motion effect in many video editors.

The shutter speed can effect the appearance but it will not change it to slow motion.
