Hi, I have a big project due this Monday for school and it's a documentary. In the documentary I really want to put captions in a clip (i.e in the History Channel documentaries they usually show their name of the person they're interviewing, and what their profession is) but I can't even find how to do captions on Adobe Premiere Elements 2.0! Is there such an affect? If so, could anyone please tell me how to find and use it? Thanks!

Hi Katie, just click on the title button on top, when the template window opens, just close it so you don't use any pre-sets. Click on the text icon, type what you want in the frame where you want it, pick a font and size and you don't even have to save it.

Go back to the edit button and your typed words (on a transparent background) will go into your media bin. Drag that title to your second video track and It will act as an overlay to your video. You can make it longer or shorter by dragging on it. You can also make it fade in or out.
