Please advice in order to buy lenss

I use the Sony HDR-HC3 for under water video and I have to take some plans from -70 depth from one wreck. I want your help in order to direct me from what lenss or filter to buy.
One friend of mine direct me to buy the Sony wide lenss VCL-HG0730X but I beleive that I can find something better....with your help.

I wouldn't put that WA adapter on an HDV cam, even a lowly HC3. This is an adapter made for relatively low resolution SD cams. HDV cams need very good glass to get the best image possible. The slightest imperfections are magnified due to the high resolution of HDV.

I don't know who makes good adapters for HDV cams but I don't think this is one. You may want to visit our sister site that focuses exclusively on Sony HDV cams (http://www.sonyhdvinfo.com/) to see what other HC3 owners are using.
