View Full Version : Scene files: I've created one; when is it on?
videovic
I've got the procedure figured out, and I've saved Scene 1 and 2 with my changes. How do I know when the scene is functioning? Is it automatically on when I am in manual mode? It's a simple question, but the manual doesn't tell you.
I'm thinking about using the manual in my bird cage.
Thanks

It's on when you select it. just select the scene file you want and that's what you get, whether in manual or auto.

Okay, I think I see. Therefore, if I want a scene to be a default auto mode (all zero's), I will need to select a scene that has all zeros. In other words, I would need to keep one of the 4 scenes with all zeros.

Hi
Yes and no. Yes if you use Scene File 1 and 2, as they are identical. Scene File 3 (B.Press) and 4 (Movie Like) will be different from 1 and 2 and also from each other, even with all values set to 0, as they use other gamma curves. The best thing you can do to see the differences is to connect your camcorder to a TV an try the different scene files.
You can allways reset the Scene File settings to their default values. Be aware though that you have to reset each scene file, you can't reset them all at once.
