View Full Version : Pls.Give Example of "User's Bit" (DVC30)

Well, this is an obvious newbie question but the manual for my DVC30 just doesn't provide much of an explanation on setting up the user's bit. I know "you can store 8-digit information (such as date and time) in the hexadecimal format on the tapes sub code track" but when actually showing how to set it, the manual offers no example. Only that you can use numbers from 0 to 9 and letters from A to F.

Can anyone explain this more fully and give me an example of how to store date and time (with the actual numbers and/or letters to enter)? I'll probably be embarassed by how easy this is but I just don't get it from the paltry instructions in the manual.

Thanks a million! :)
