I have one of these. It projects the infrared light out farther so one can shoot in darkness at a greater distance. A note to anyone looking to buy one of these: It states that it will work up to 30 meters (about 100 feet). It CAN reach that far but only if you slow the shutter speed down to 1/4.
Anyway, my question concerns the regular 3W light that is in it. Would it be possible to replace the 3W bulb with a 10W bulb? Or would that be too much heat for the plastic housing? Just curious if anyone might know.
