Aspect Ration - Which to Select?

Hi,

Right now, all my TV's are 4:3, but it is possible that I may get a widescreen in the future. Any suggestions on which setting to use to record (4:3 vs. 16:9)? I started in 4:3, but I don't like how the viewing screen is cut down when I'm recording.

Any suggestions?

I exclusively record in 16:9 mode although I don't have any widescreen TV at the moment. When viewing the DVDs on my 4:3 TV I have these black bars on top and on botton of the screen but this is acceptable.
Once I have a widscreen TV then it will fill out the whole screen.

I only use 16:9 also, and I only have old-school TVs. It seems to me that the future of TV is 16:9 so that's what I am recording in.
