Its imporant that the project settings matches the parameters of the mpeg2 file. What camcorder are you using?

DCR-SR100


So there no button or check box to enable/disable smart-rendering. When I added first clip of video to timeline, UVS 10+ asked me if I want to change the settings to match with my video to use smart-rendering.
I always click yes for this.

Oh yes there is.
go to share->create video file->custom->options then check "perform Samrtrender"
