HD7 Accessories

Thought I'd start a thread that we can add accessories to. JVC has some accessories for this camcorder on their site. Here is the link:

The two things that interested me right away is the external mic and the 2190mAh Battery. I believe that means a 5 hour battery. That would be nice to have for sure.

I wish I knew more about the mic. I googled it but no reviews that I could find. Anybody use it before?

The BN-VF823 7.2V, 2190mAh battery pack is a spare rechargeable battery for the GZ-HD7, GZ-MG130, 155, 255 and GZ-MG555 Everio camcorders.

It offers an approximate continuous operation time of:
· 4hr. 55min. for non megapixel models,
· 4hr. 10min. for 1 megapixel models,
· 3hr. 35min. for 2 megapixel models,
· 3hr. 40min. for 5 Megapixel models.

I bought the BN-VF823 with my GZ-HD7 but wasn't able to film anything long enough to empty it already. After using it in the last days, I think it will be more around 3 hours then 5 hours.

I'm more interested in the upcoming Blu-ray drive for the Everio line then anything else. A JVC rep told me about it in a show, but I don't have alot of details for now...
