I learned something new by trial and error. :)
Someone, on one of these forums, said that we could rename a .vro file by changing its format to a .mpg file in order to have Windows Media play it.
The reason I did it was because I wanted my neighbor to view the video at their home on their PC of the birthday party they had. It wasn't a long clip so didn't want to use up a DVD disc to take it up there. After I changed the file to .mpg format, I compressed it first because otherwise I couldn't get it to copy to a CD-RW.
Then I took it up to the neighbors, copied it to their PC, in spite of a little window flying up saying it couldn't do it. It did it anyway and now they can view the video thru WiMP.
Of course I first copied the .VRO file my DVD-MovieAlbumSE 4 CopyTool had placed on my PC to another folder so I wouldn't mess up the vro file for making a DVD later, when I have more clips to add to it to make a decent sized DVD.
I have a question tho. Could I have used a regular sized DVD-RW disc to record that mpg file, then would I be able to erase it after putting it on their PC?
