TRV-25 Not detected

I have a TRV-25, and I connected it to my PC using my OHCI Compliant Firewire card.
My camera is plugged into the wall using the AC adapter aswell.
The camera displayed DV IN on the LCD Screen, but my computer makes no attempt to connect to my camera.
I have tryed all my FIREWIRE ports, and they all dont work.
But a month ago, it was all working!

Please help!

Turn OFF the DV IN option (where-ever it is in the menu); that's primarily meant to be used when you are recording onto the camera using an external DV compatible source.

There is no function in the menu to disable DV IN, or switch to DV OUT...

OK I solved it! Thanks for the help though!
It turned out.... the pins in my firewire cable were bent all over. So I simply bent them back into place and now its working like a charm!

OK Now I am having capture problems!
I have tryed Adobe Premiere Pro 2, and Sony Vegas 7. Both of them freeze when I try and load the capture menu, but only with the camera plugged in!

Try with a NEW high quality (Belkin?) cable.. You may still have bad pins (and hope prior attempts didn't damage the jacks)
