I made a short movie using two cameras, a Panasonic AG-DVX100b and a 4-year old consumer RCA MiniDV camcorder. Since I used each camera for a different angle, the movie is full of shots from each camera interlaced throughout the film. I edited all the footage together using Pinnacle Studio 9. After I finished it I tried it out on my DVD player and it worked perfectly. So I made a couple copies and sent one to my parents and gave one to one of my friends who helped me with the movie. My parents told me they tried to watch it but only the music played--there was no audio of the people speaking. My friend also had a similar problem. All the music played, but only the vocals from one camera worked. All the shots from the RCA camcorder had audio, but whenever the movie came to a scene shot with the Panasonic, the vocal audio didn't work. The same discs work perfect on my DVD player as well as several other I tried.
I assumed Studio mixes down all the audio tracks into a single track, but I guess not. How does a problem like this even happen?
Thanks,
