How do you upload music to the videos?

Hey I am using cyberlink the software that came with the camera and I cant figure out how to upload music for some reason.. Everytime I try I get an error message. or it tells me it doesant support that kind of file. So I donwloaded a music converter but all that did was tell me it cant convert proteced files? Anyone know what I can do? Any help is greatly appreciated.

It is very simple, which camera do you have? And I am sure you are using PowerDirector 5 NE Express.

I am sure you know how to import video and audio files, just select video and import and then import audio (MP3 or wma format), then drop both files on time line/ story board. And don't forget to mute original sound, by pressing right click on video file, from the timeline/story board, and you will able to see button called "Mute Track" just press it( this will overwrite your audio file), and then produce the film.

Thanks for the replay..For some reasont the import option is in light gray so I cant click on it.. Whats really wierd is that I can add the sample music from media player but I cant add any of the stuff I rip to my hard drive.
