View Full Version : PV-GS250 feature questions
Diggar
Have a 250 for a while but have not used it in a long time and was wondering about a couple of features.
When using the LCD monitor how do I turn off all the overlay items when recording?
When downloading to my PC via firewire is there a way to turn off the sound while it is playing?
Thanks

I don't have a 250 but I do have a similar vintage Panasonic cam. I don't think you can turn them off. But check the manual to be sure.

Turn the sound down on your cam. There should be a setting somewhere in the menus for speaker volume control. Again, check the manual.
Good luck.

Hit the menu button then go to the setup screen. From there select display and turn it to off. That should remove everything from the LCD screen while you're recording.
To turn the sound down while transferring to your computer through the firewire cable simply adjust the volume with the same button that controls the zoom function while you're recording. You push it to the left to turn the volume down. If you look it is labelled as /VOL.

I stand corrected! Thank you, King.
Good luck.
