Gs 250

I just purchased a Panasonic Gs 250 used and am a little confused about which outlet you use for ee 1394 firewire for down loading your video.
There is a usb outlet on the right side and a DV outlet on the left side where the monitor screen opens.
The instructions are not clear as to which one is used for the firewire connection.
Any help would be appreciated.

The one marked DV is the Firewire/IEEE1394/iLink terminal.
