Auto White Balance Feature DOesn't Respond

i have original ag-dvx100 I purchased a few days ago. I'm unable to get the auto white balance to respond at all. When I click the button on the front, absolutely nothing happens. It's like when I click anything on that front side of the camera, nothing happens. The iris dial doesn't produce any results to indicate anything is happening, the auto buttons don't seem to respond.

Any ideas? I'm really needing to AWB but nothing happens.

I dont have the dvx100,but do have a dvc30,you may have a switch on the camera to switch from auto to manual.just aguess that it needs to be in manual mode for those functions.

Do I have bad breath? :D
