Hi
I was a service manager at a Suz. and Yam shop for years. If the bike has new 12V system with reg. it should work. the only problem I see you might have to Rec. to SD card , Not sure ! on a sport bike hopping around, Indo's topend, wheelies might make it skip and show disk ER. I think SD card would be the way to go. for fast action. good luck ! It will not take a big converter. something small and compack.

Thanks for the info.
I did not explain myself and what i would like to do very well !
I will be using a motorcycle batt on its own,not attached to a bike !
I need to know if a modified sine wave inverter will work to power my camcorder.Being as how the power coming out of a modified is not as clean(pure) as home power, will this affect the performance of my HDD or the quality of the recorded video ???
Thanks
Dave

Hi
Not sure ! The charger for the HD7 will plug into it. and its has a transformer in it. I would think it should reg. the voltage so it would work. I would call JVC and see what they say just to make sure !
