Camcorder Help

I am looking to buy a new camera for taping in a classroom setting, as well as being able to edit said movies. I have found that the Panasonic PV-GS320 fills most of my requirements.

My question is concerning the mic and lack of a mic jack. How well does the mic function? Or barring that what is another camera of comprable quality and price?

I am fairly new to all this so any help is appreciated. Many thanx to all who read and give their input on this.

The onboard mic is very good. It should suit your needs, as long as you aren't doing anything very professional. If you are planning to sell it or something, then it might not be good enough.

Not selling them no, but possibly putting them online.
