What do I need to do this ? Help appreciated

I have been looking at the HV20 OR HV30. I waat to film a documnetary.

I need to be able to film in cinema mode, and edit uising a PC. I've read some things that say you need a seperate computer card.

So I awnt to be able to film good quality and edit on a PC with the minmum hassle. Will I need seperate editing software ?

Perhaps the separate computer card you are talking about is the firewire card which is needed to transfer your video from your camcorder to your computer. There are free software available for capturing the video but you will need a software for editing which will cost you around $100. Keep in mind depending on the software you purchase you may need to purchase another software to remove the pulldown if you record in 24p mode.
