I hope this is the right forum, but I have a quick question guys:
For those pro grade Canon camcorders that take interchangable lenses, what EF lenses will work? I have 15+ EF lenses most of which are L grade that I use with still photography, and I was wondering which can be used on your Canon pro grade camcorders?
Please kindly advise, and thanks,
LovCom.

You cannot use EF lenses with Canon camcorders without using a 35mm adapter. The sensor sizes are different. To use an EF lens directly the camcorder needs to have a 35mm sensor size which is not the case. The camcorder doesn't need to have interchangeable lenses to use these adapters since the adapter mounts in front of the stock lens. Look at Letus35 (http://www.adapterplace.com/component/page,shop.product_details/product_id,27/category_id,11/manufacturer_id,0/option,com_virtuemart/Itemid,56/) or Brevis (http://www.cinevate.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=71&osCsid=5506ef65e7e9373a7098b09d2bfaac79) . There are more adapters available but these are the two affordable and major players in the market. By the help of these adapters you can use any of your 15+ EF lenses. The results are amazing using these adapters.
