New to Vegas and have a question

I have Vegas and I want to make a video of a person sitting in a room with another image of them (same person) walking in the room and sitting across from themself.

Is this possible with Vegas? If so can you give me a few pointers?

Go to Youtube & search on "Sony vegas split screen" - there are several tuts on there. I tried to find the one I used last year (put together by a ~11 y/o kid LOL!) but couldn't. Anyway, there are alot of Vegas tuts on Youtube, FYI.
