Would anyone know what the best settings are to get a good shot in low light? I'm using an HV30 - Thanks.

Use 24p mode. Lock the exposure to prevent gain. Lower the shutter speed to at least 48. Zoom all the way out.

Nice! Thanks for the advice. Also I have discovered that accidently leaving a Polarized lens on while recording in low light is a very bad idea ;)
