Hi all,
I've owned an older SD Canon MiniDV camcorder. One of the issues plaguing the Canon MiniDV camcorders is it's tape eating tendancy. After talking to a repair tech., he indicated this was attributed to a design issue in the tape transport that eventually fails.
I was wondering if Canon had updated the tape transport to eliminate this problem. These camcorders have been out for about a year now, so I'm curious to learn how the tape mechanisms have been doing.
