I am interested in looking for a decent but affordable shotgun mic for my camera. I am filming short films with my friends and want something that will amplify the sound and get rid of the buzz of the camera when you play the film back. This is just for fun and not a professional thing so I would like the price to stay relatively low. And if it is helps determine which mic would be best, we are making zombie movies. :p I am not well knowledgeable on the sound design so I need some help. Would a Rode VideoMic be good for this type of thing?
