Smooth for me. Plus the "at least its free" is a big point.

Mine runs smooth most of the time, then it just decides to stutter for a bit, then smooth again. Odd behaviour.

My system is powerful, and CPU usage always remains under 50% during playback so i know its not a hardware limitation. Running winXP, what OS u running?

In any case, i think inconsistancy among different systems is already a bad start.

But yeh, again its free hehe.
