PE 4 issues

I'm having problems with PE 4: I successfully captured some HDV and PE4 had me save it as a project. When I open the project and go to edit, the clips only show up in the viewline, but I cannot move them up to the organizer to work with them non-linearly. Tutorials do not help. Other projects do give me clips in the organizer array. It seems that project and file/folder manipulation is tricky. Any thoughts?

What is PE 4 ??

Besides the issues I mentioned above, when I run full screen view, the audio gets broken at clip junctures (audible gaps in sound). I have a PC with Vista Home Premium (curse, i know), athlon 64x2 4800, 4 Gigs Ram. I've asked this question: currently have on board video--would a card with dedicated RAM help?

Hi Jim,
Premiere Elements in a non linear editor and therefore you never can actually edit the original clips.

Stop the by the forum at Muvipix.com and someone can help you get started using the program, not as hard as it might look ;)
