Panasonic HS300 vs Panasonic TM300

Is there any other difference than the disk space between these two camcorders?

HS300 seems to have a 120gb hd and TM300 32gb -- any other difference?

Are we positive about that? I'm curious if there are any reviews here on the TM. I'm looking to upgrade this fall and if it has the same low light performance, this could save me some $$.

I can confirm.

The TM300 has 32GB internal memory and the HS300 has 1200GB both have SD card slot. Thats the only difference.

I own the HS300 even though it was more expensive I dont have to keep changing SD Card if I run out of space. I recommend it

Thanks.
This will be moved around a lot during the chasing of any storms in the area, so I am a little concerned with the durability of a hdd in the cam.

This was my concern as well. I have been running with mine and all sorts and its ok. Its not made to stay still so they will have to make it high durability.

Im not too sure how well it will handle if dropped must be real carefull. I know HDD are sensitive, I wonder though if its a different type of HDD than they would use in a computer.

The TM will obviously be smaller and lighter than the HS without the HDD. Although the HS with the HDD isnt really that big and heavy was supprised.

What are you planing on doing, like running with the camera or something

If a tornado surprises me at night while I'm filming (can't see them in the dark very well, happened a couple weeks back), then yes I will be running, jumping, diving....anything to get out of harms way....lol. So moving parts are somewhat of a concern in my choice. Which is why I would probably choose the TM if I go with Panasonic.

TheCase
Well unless you are throwing the camera around then I wouldnt see a problem. If its in your hand and your running and jumping I dont see too much of a problem although you may drop it so you might be better of with the TM, I agree :)

Does the TM come with an HDD as well though just 32GB or is an 32GB SD Card included.
