The budget is around $5000. It can go over by $1500 if it makes a huge difference. I want the look of film obviously. :p
What I am filming will probably end up requiring some low light filming which will be integral to the film. So that is somewhat important. I also am trying to get the best look possible for the money. I already have a beast of a computer to edit whatever I end up getting to film this with.
I also noticed most cameras tout firewire as their big thing for transferring video. Firewire is far slower than the new ESATA. Have any cameras adopted that format for video transfer?
