Have anyone try expandore.com ?

Have anyone with buying experience with this online shop ?
heard from my friend, that they only sell PAL versions.

Is PAL better then NTSC ?

their price of the camera seems good to me, but I am not feeling comfortable sending any money until I get and see the camera since the last time I did it was a failure.

At a quick glance, this site appears to be a importer primarily. I don't see any of the obvious telltale signs of a scam operation, however, further research is highly advisable.

I am thinking of ordering a Sony PD150 camcorder from Expandore as their price is extremely good. Does anyone have any good (or bad) experience in dealing with this company?

i've just bought the panasonic agdvx100 at expandore, they were very helpful with all the information that i needed during a short e-mail correspondence with them,i placed the order, send the money to their bank by wire transfer and the day the money arrived in singapore they shipped the camera,i could follow the packet on the dhl website,took two day's,and this afternoon,local time in the netherlands,the camera arrived in good order.must say that i'm very happy with expandore,nice service,good price (half of the price in the netherlands).
there is a french forum on the dvx100 where members had the same experience.

hi, i've bought the dvx100e that's the pal version for 2600.- euro's and the cgad54se battery for 112 euro's plus 20 dvm63mq tapes for 96 euro's.I've also bought the extended mack two years warranty for 105 euro,i don't really know if that's something reliable or not,just gave it a try,the freight charges where 85 euro and insurance 23 euro.The custems charged me with 560 euro vat,the local tax witch i expected.I did not asked for a discount so did not get any,i'm very happy with this price.In dollars the camera will be about 3000 dollar,check their website.The salesman who served me was edward tang.To be honest i really do not know wheter the warranty is good or not and problably the camera has to be shipped back to singapore if there's any repair work to be done,but then in the Netherlands i would pay 6000 euro's for the same camera.
Hope this is any help, it took me a long time to decide because it is difficult to find people on the internet who had any experience with expandore, and just to trust a nice looking website is a bit of a risk.
the only advise on pal or ntsc that i can give you is buy pal when living in one of the pal countries.

hi, an extra comment on the mack warranty, with this i don't have to send it back to singapore for repairs but can send it to a local panasonic agent.
