Can I use HDMI OUT port to a remote LCD?
 

Hi folks,
I was wondering if anyone has any experience using the HDMI OUT port on the Sony HDR-SR11 (or any camcorder with HDMI out), to connect to a remote LCD display. I'm using my Sony in an underwater enclosure, and the A/V remote port is being used by the controller that controls my zoom, pause/start features.

My enclosure isn't wide enough to allow me to open the built-in LCD screen, and underwater the regular viewfinder is hard at best to use. I had seen small 2.5" LCDs once posted that were used as remotes on camcorders...

I want to mount a battery powered LCD to the inside of the back of the enclosure to allow me to view more easily what is being recorded.

Any ideas? information? links?
