x and y axis rotation

I have been using vegas 8 pro (latest version) and know my way around it quite well, however I don't seem to be able to rotate images on the x or y axis. The 3d icon on the left of the timeline only seems to allow circular or z axis rotation?? Am I missing something here??

Try Track Motion with the 3D Source Alpha option enabled.
