Can someone tell me the difference between these 2 cameras?
 

Hi guys.
I want to make the jump to working with HD video.
I use Final Cut Studio 2 and would like a camera that shoots good quality video and transfers its data easily to the editor (I think that sony may not)?
I have my eye on these 2 cameras.
The Sanyo VPC HD 2000
And the Sony HDR XR 500V
Now I see that they both take AVCHD video at 1920 x 1080.
But the Sanyo is Progressive video. And that better right?
So with the video being what I think is the same ond only the memory capacity different on the Sony, is there something that I am not seeing for the extra $ that the Sony one costs?
