video to cd or dvd
once I get a d8 camcorder I will be off burning my old video8 to cd or dvd.
i've read that analog is converted to digital therefore there will be no generation degregation of the succeeding transfers...

a little better u say
why is it only a little better in regard to resolution when the 740s' ccd is 1 megapixel while the the 350 a little less than half of it (450k). i'd expect it to be a "lot" better. whatudthink?

sony trv740 or trv350???
my search for a sony digital8 camcorder has lead me to two choices.
the trv740 1 megapixel and the trv350 with built in light.
there are fewer 740 around now and is it because they are being phased...
