D'you think so? I have one and although mine's PAL, and so 25p not 24p, I think that the low light shooting is plain awful, hardly any better than my SD7.

HDC-SD5 is a lot smaller and will be much easier for you to carry around. SDHC cards are getting very cheap now and those 8cm DVDs may begin to seem like a blind alley.
