Playing AVCHD in Vista
Upgraded to Vista last weekend (took 8 hours, but thats another horror story - quick tip, disable any Raid drivers before you try).
Now playing AVCHD files consumes pretty much 100% of CPU using...

And another complaint....
.... and you have to plug the power into AC for a computer to see the Camcorder via USB.
Given I can't find a cheap SDHC card reader anywhere that really sucks....

Yes, my SD1 works very nicely with the Transcend 8GB SDHC card. It gives me 83 minutes remaining on the screen when newly formatted.

Price Reduction of the SD1 in Japan
In Yodabashi Camera Akihabara today and saw the SD1 selling for 147,000 which converts at current rates to to $1235 USD. AND you get 10% in Yodabashi points if you pay cash....
