After spending hours online with HP and NO help at the JVC website with no solution in site I reached out to the online community.

I am using this camcorder on a new HP Media Center PC and was still having problems.

I was a little skeptical a CompUSA employee recommending a card sold at CompUSA (Belkin F5U503 UPC#722868441442 CompUSA SKU# 305323 - must have the Texas Instrument chipset).

This solution worked for me and I so happy that I took the time to register with camecorderinfo.com and send this reply.
