camcorderinfo.com recently did a review on the Samsung HMX10 camcorder and compared it with its top rated Canon HV30 camcorder. Although the overall resolution of the 1080p Canon was higher than the 720p Samsung it was found that under high motion conditions the 720p Samsung was actually sharper than the 1080p Canon. This is because the Samsung can eliminate motion blurring by shooting at 60 frames per second while the Canon can only shoot at 30 frames per second.
